Small Mahhatan based NYS Licensed Home Health Agency looking for a registered nurse to assume the fuction of Nursing Director on a part-time basis.
Our agency is Joint Commission Accredited
The position currently requires only office time. Most field assignments (at patients` home) will be handled by our Nurse Supervisor.
You Will be responsible for:
- Keeping patients` charts up to date and in full compliance with all regulations
- Keeping field staff`s files up to date in compliance with NYS regulation and Joint Commission requirements
- Conduct in-service training for our HHA`s in the office
- Coordinating initial assessment for new cases
Requirements:
- NYS Registered Nurse License in good standing
- Professional liability insurance
- US citizenship, residence status or work permit
- Home care experience
Part-time will be 8 to 10 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday during office hours (9:00 am - 5:00 pm).
Work hours may increase as the company grows.
